Explzh 9.88
released Oct 10, 2025 (New Release)
Fixed an issue where the tree view on the left pane was turned into a garbled character when displaying full-width Japanese characters following special characters such as Unicode binding characters and zero-width spaces by owner draw. As a result, visibility including the state color has been improved.
Changed to use the Dark Mode API for dynamically created progressbar drawing when dark mode setting is enabled. This is reflected by applying the recent Windows Update, and the color of the bar is displayed in white.
Reduced flicker when the file name text drawing of the main body status bar is updated at high speed during dark mode.
Added the "Disable incremental search function" option to [Options]-[General]-[Settings]-[Basic Behavior].
In [Options]-[Window]-[Color font style]-[Dark mode], check "Turn the color of the check box to dark mode" to display it with the check box for dark mode.
He also made some other detailed corrections.

Improved to send update notifications to the shell when making changes such as additional compression to existing zip and 7-zip files. This also updates the view of the Explorer with the file open in real time. (If the drop target function is enabled, you can easily create an encrypted ZIP by dragging and dropping onto the ZIP icon while holding down the Ctrl key.)
When the zip drop target setting is enabled, the "Compressed (zipped) Folder" item will be added if it does not exist in the "New" shell context menu.

Fixed a bug where uncompressed file information was not written correctly when converting an encrypted ZIP to a normal ZIP. (It can be extracted with most decompression software, but please note that there are cases where the warning is not displayed. Arcext.dll v.4.75)
The above issue can now be fixed by running the "ZIP Repair" function directly from the warning displayed in the "ZIP Strict Check". (Arcext.dll v.4.75.1)
"Repair Zip Archive" now also restores symbolic links. *Symbolic link attributes found in the central header are restored to MS-DOS attributes.
Added "Enable by long pressing the left mouse button" to the sub-options of "Automatic column width adjustment in report list view" in "Window" - "General Window" - "Screen Settings". * By default, "Long pressing the left mouse button (0.2 sec.)" is enabled.
The above feature is now enabled by default in the list in the "Search in Archives Dialog" as well.

Fixed a bug where "Convert and save archive" to tar.zst was converted to tar.xz.
"Archive validity check" for multiple zips from the shell extension now uses strict header-only checks.

Explzh 9.64
released Feb 6, 2025 (New Release)
"Repair Zip Archive" now checks the header for validity before execution (without CRC checking), and repairs zip files (including office documents) with damaged headers. (The shortcut key "CTR+I" performs a strict check of the zip header, and displays a repair confirmation dialog only for zip files that are found to be damaged. It is fast because it omits the CRC check.)
Executable files that have zip in their resources are now excluded from "Repair Zip Archive".
