Step Wedge: Fixed problems with incorrect total number of patches set when dragging dialog box between monitors and in some other cases.
Color Lookup: Added support for 1-D lookup tables with sizes up to 65535 entries. 3-D lookup tables remain limited to 256 x 256 x 256 entries.

File Preferences: added an option to control how large images have to be before progress bars are displayed.
Masks: fixed problem causing a crash in some cases then referring to a mask other than the first one in the Masks transformation.
Added a new batch transformation (Transformation/Batch/Video) that lets you create a video file in MP4 or WMV format from a sequence of images. The video file is built up one frame at a time as each new input image is processed.

File Preferences: added the option to locate progress indicators and status messages to the lower left corner (instead of the center) of the main window to be less distracting.
Progress Bars: progress bars have always been hidden for images with less than a certain number of pixels. This threshold is now increased for most transformations as computers are faster than they used to be. The threshold is also adjusted to account for the number of threads your computer can run simultaneously. Slower transformations such as Precise Gaussian Blur, Zoom Blur and Multipass Sharpen use a lower threshold.
Updated to libpng 1.6.54 and zlib 1.3.1 -- libraries used to read and write PNG files.
Resize: fixed issue with upscaling binary images.

Fixed problems in several transformations with the histogram in curve controls not always being updated when the input image mask was modified.
File Preferences: added a setting to let you set the image file version number separator character to either space or underscore.
File Preferences: added a setting to hide progress bars and the yellow status indicators Always.
Previously it could only to applied to when scripts or batch was running. This setting now affects status indicators as well as progress bars. When hidden, an hourglass cursor is displayed instead.
File Print: fixed problem with printing a second time.
Add Border: largely re-written to let you create more complicated border outlines.

File Preferences: fixed problem of several of the settings (Units, Clipboard, Window Caption, Recent File List) being invisible.
Channel Mixer: fixed problems causing the transformation’s settings not to be saved and restored correctly. Please delete any previous occurrences of this transformation in scripts and rebuild them using the latest version as the command line was saved incorrectly.
Updated to LibRaw 0.22.0
Updated LensFun database (used to correct vignetting and distortion in raw files). Any existing lens profiles in the Lens Profiles folder will be automatically deleted and rebuilt as necessary.
Printing: updated some obsolete code.

Warp: fixed problem with the Constrain tool bar not being updated when the transformation was reset via its settings menu.
Batch mode: fixed problem with canceling a transformation after modifying its settings.
Slide Show Viewer: added support for creating MP4 video files. Captions now work when saving video files. Captions are displayed in white with a dark semi-transparent background. There is a new setting to select the caption font.

Updated to lcms 2.18 (color management library).
Fixed problems in multiple batch preventing it from working if only one file was selected in each File Open.
Slide Show Viewer: added File/Save as video command to let you save a slide show as a Windows WMV video file. I ran into problems trying to save video as MP4, but there any various applications that can transcode WMV to MP4 or some other video format if you need it. Added video settings to File/Preferences dialog box. File/Save as video currently ignores slide captions.

Mask Dialog Box: Added a new button to let you change the initial base mask image (or gray level). This is the same base image you can select from the Amount control when you first create a new mask, but now you can change it without starting over.

Updated to ExifTool version 13.44.
The thumbnails temporarily created in the image browser when the Print or Export commands are executed can no longer be closed from within the image browser.
Changes to masks:
Mask settings menu: renamed the Save current mask and Combine saved mask commands to Store mask image and Combine stored mask image. These commands work as before, making a temporary copy of the current mask image that you can use later in the same Mask session.
The stored mask image is erased when you close the Mask dialog box. Added a new Mask Touch tool – see the updated help and Creating and Using Masks.pdf files for details. A full installation is required due to one new bitmap.

Added File/Save – Copy Metadata command to let you save the current image but select which file’s metadata is copied to the output file. You could use this, for example to open a PNG file generated by Aiarty Image Enhancer and save it as a TIFF file, while preserving all the metadata from the original raw file.
Modified Distort transformation to use less stack space. This should prevent crashing in some cases. I also increase the size of the stack.
Monitor/Printer Curves: dialog box is now modeless so it can remain open while you use other parts of Picture Window.
Resize: fixed problem with incorrect display of input image memory size.
