ultrasurf was working perfectly before. i dont know what happened but suddenly stopped working. anytime i tried connecting, i get "error occured. ultrasurf has to exit. please restart. i have tried all the solutions you have suggested but unfortunately, i cant connect

I was downloading movies perfectly in the past using Ultrasurf in my office. From this week onwards after the downloading starts in a little while it stops and gets cancelled. How can i solve this issue? Anybody pls help me,,,

Do not dowload this program, it has a keylogger attached to it, i am currently locked out fo both of my e-mail accounts because of this, once i completed a scan Ultrasurf was found to be a keylogger, DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR INSTALL.

I was having the same problem too "An error occurred, UltraSurf must exit. Plase restart." But after deleting all the files beginning with '~' (2,570 of them) and restart the UltraSurf, everything went back to normal. Thanks a lot Amir. :D

when you see "An error occurred, UltraSurf must exit. Plase restart." you should go to STARTMENU>RUN and write %TEMP% and press enter. delete some file that begin by ~.
and restart you ultrasurf.

I rate it good because it worked great for 9 months. Now I also have the "An error occured, Ultrasurf must exit. Please restart." but deleting tmp files didn't make it.

==> Question: in VISTA, where to delete the temp files that cause the error?
and does anybody know exactly what are these files names/extensions?

i solved the issue with "An error occurred etc". I first downloaded "registry mechanic". Had to pay 29.50 euro. It did not solve the problem. Then I downloaded free of charge CCleaner. It cleaned some left-overs of programs I thought I had fully deleted. Then suddenly the problem was gone. Anyhow, it is a registry problem.
The other issue, namely that ultrasurf stops halfway you tube clips: i still have no solution. There has to be a solution since only some have this problem. let me know if you know: steviejongh@hotmail.com

@Sam: i think your using windows 7. i got the same prob. Just clear your temp file. just go to run and type %temp% then delete the files or simply delete those with filename which starts with "~" character.
