ScenePainter for Linux, Mac OS X 3.8 Full Description

The ScenePainter application was to be a fun art program for creating comics by (re-)arranging prefabricated graphic elements, taken from a media library. Other popular uses include creating (animated) forum avatars for players of the MMORPG Y!PP and Bang!Howdy or checking out newly released artwork and color combinations in these online games.

In it's current version, the software depends on the graphic files shipping with the aforementioned products being present. This means, that in order to make any use of this program, you have to have a working installation of either game at this time.

Remember if the application window was maximized, the last time, ScenePainter was run.
Single instance mode: When the operation system/web browser is instructed to open SCC files with ScenePainter, open all scenes in the same window instead of starting a new instance of the application for every scene (NOTE: interprocess communication is handled via network sockets, this might cause trouble with some firewalls, see FAQ for details).
Allow to toggle Dialogs being resizable from Windows|workspace|Dialogs resizable. NOTE: Resizing dialogs in not enabled by default because doing so may result in widgets being squashed/enlarged to unusable proportions.
Slightly reorganized the ScenePainter application directory. Images (for image elements) are now kept in $SCENEPAINTERDIR/media/images instead of $SCENEPAINTER/images. This change should only affect new installations.
