Just have a look at the Animated Screensaver "Lighthouse"! In ancient times, when there were no modern navigation devices, sometimes lighthouses were the only hope for the sailors. Only when orientated by the lighthouse’s lights they could reach the shore in the night time. This lighthouse, just like the similar structures, is located on the hill near the very sea shore. At night, in the same way as before, it shows the way to the traveling ships, and during the day it is an unusual decoration of the shore landscape and a shelter for the sea birds.
