KaPlaRe 1.5.2 Full Description

This is new program KaPlaRe (Karaoke Player and Recorder, sound like italian "kantare" or singing). It is based on KaReK source, but without drum part (N'keybDrum). Everything here is DirectX, sync music and text is with DirectX music time, audio effects on midi files are DirectMusic, audio effect on wave files and voice are DirectSound, drum sets are DirectMusic Producer files (segmetnt and style).Any additional job is done in separate window. Recording is done with ACM (audio compression manager ) which meant that you can save wave file with mp3 codec in it. Karaoke window shows 4 line of text, first two display words in rhythm, there is also a full screen mode. Audio player is small window with Windows Media Player control for playing recorded wave file or any mp3 or wave file. Voice window plays wave file with effect and/or different frequeny, pan and volume.

You can add effect to your voice in real time but with this part I am not too satisfied. MidiInfo window will show usefull info about midi file (trak info, tempo map, ticks and music time for words ..) and of course karaoke text. Text you can get also in SAMI window, and if you choose "save smi file" than you will get three additional files: smi - media player format for displaying subtitles for video (closed captions), htnl file (for playing audio with text over internet) and txt file (jaraoke words in text format - lines). About button will open, hm, window about author (me). I will put here thumnails pictures of all those windows, press any if you want to see bigger picture.
