iSafer offers free protection against attacks from the Internet.

The open source firewall iSafer protects against intruders by blocking spyware, adware, and other programs that want to interfere with your files. You can block user-defined Ports, IPs and applications, and comfortably change safety settings with a slider-control. Check your PC for open ports and set permissions for folders. A „Firewall Log“ charts incoming and outgoing movement.

NOTE: iSafer works in Windows 9X/NT/2K/XP only and there is no plan for any changes

This is a Firewall which runs in socket layer - Winsock firewall is a filter which checks all the network packages against a specific rule set.

Winsock firewall can be used to check and block Spywares, Adwares, etc.. running in your PC and stealing your privacy!!! With developers, this is a good example of a basic firewall. It is too simple for a developer to understand the architecture of a firewall. Winsock firewall is designed and created by DDT(email) and LTH(email). Now we decided to make it an open source at SourceForge to share with all of you.
