AlaTimer with the friendly assistance of Fred Flintstone helps parents control their children’s computer usage each day. Fred allows each child (Windows user) a pre-configured maximum usage time, for each calendar day, for example 120 minutes. Sixty seconds prior to this period expiring a message will pop-up, asking your child to logoff. AlaTimer could be configured to logoff, shutdown or restart the computer, at the end of this period. Every time the mouse hovers over Fred’s icon, Fred will pop up a short message telling how long your child has spent on the computer and how much longer your child may use the computer for the day.
No more telling, nagging or trying to educate your child to spend less time on the home computer. No more siblings’ arguments: “it’s my turn now”, “you have been on it for so long”, etc. Just relax and let Fred take control. Get AlaTimer and give it a try to see just how useful it can be!
