Affixa makes your webmail account part of Windows. It makes gathering and preparing the files you want to send easy. Affixa gives you the choice of which web or desktop mail system you use and when. All the features available in Windows that were once only available to your desktop mail-using friends are now available to everyone!

Many applications have the built-in capability to send emails. For example, you can send a document from Microsoft Word, a PDF from Adobe Acrobat, or photos from Windows Explorer. The problem is that these don't work with web-based email, including Gmail or Yahoo! Mail.

Handles Email "mailto" Links:
· Works system-wide! Not just in Firefox. In the subscription version of the software you can route your mailto clicks through to the account of your choice.

· Single Account Usage Our basic offering. Choose to create a single Gmail, Yahoo! Mail or Desktop mail account.

Attachment baskets:
· Gather your attachments into one or more baskets. Save a basket if you want to use it again.

Desktop Email - including Outlook, Thunderbird and more:
· Affixa works with any desktop mail application, including favourites such as Oulook, Thunderbird, Outlook Express or Windows Mail.

Automatic detection of problem attachments:
· Some files, such as executables or those over a certain size, cannot be sent as attachments. Affixa will warn you when this is the case.
